- How do you handle billing?
- Our goal is to give you the best lawn care service possible. For this reason, we require an account to be set up for residential lawn maintenance via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Credit cards are stored through a secure system and we will bill within 48 business hours after services are rendered. When you sign up for regular service with Lazer Lawn Care, you won't ever have to think about your lawn again!
- For one-time services such as fencing, landscaping, or concrete; payment will be due upon completion of services. Some projects may require an initial deposit.
- All commercial lawn and landscape services will be billed monthly via a net 30 payment term.
- How do you price your jobs?
- Lazer Lawn Care prices work using a stipulated sum pricing structure. Whether we have 1 employee on site for 3 days, or 3 employees on site for one day, the price of the job stays the same. We understand that in our industry there are many people operating illegitimate businesses who can offer lower prices, but rest assured when you hire us, we are licensed, we are insured, and we have a reputation that we will upkeep. If you have any further questions about our pricing, feel free to reach out to us!
- What kind of warranty do you offer on your services?
- Lazer Lawn Care offers a complimentary one year warranty on all labor. However, warranties on materials vary amongst jobs. Below are some examples, but feel free to ask about the warranty details on your job at any time!
- Landscaping: A flower bed with no irrigation will not have any warranty on new shrub and flower installations. However, we will supply you with instructions on keeping your flower bed healthy and vibrant. We also plant all of our shrubs in composted manure (or supersoil) which ensures a healthy underground growing environment for the establishment of new shrubs. If the flower bed is irrigated, we offer a one month warranty on shrub installation. On all new shrub installations we also offer a sprinkler rental with a timer that we can install and set up for you at an affordable price!
- Fencing: Lazer Lawn Care takes precautionary measures on all of our fence installs. Some examples include using 6x6 posts with 3 hinges on every gate, using ring shank hot-dipped nails, concrete in every single post, and setting every post 24 inches deep in the ground. Our fences come with a 48 day warranty on materials, and a one year warranty on labor.

- How do you handle damage such as a broken window, sprinkler head, etc.
- Please contact us immediately any time you see any damage that might have been caused by our crews. We are fully insured and have response efforts in place for all types of damage. Please do not contact an outside vendor prior to contacting us.
- What if my yard does not get serviced on my scheduled day?
- Other than a rain delay, we rarely will miss a yard on its scheduled mowing rotation. Please allow 48 hours in some cases for us to "play catch up" if the weather is difficult to work around.
- What if I am unhappy with my services?
- Our services are guaranteed and our reputation is very important to us. If you are unhappy with your services, please contact us immediately. Depending on the situation, we will send a foreman out to look at and fix the issue, set up a meeting to have the crew come out and fix the issue, or correct the issue on the next scheduled visit.
- How do you handle pets and yard debris?
- Please let us know if your pets are kept outside. Our crew will make every effort to not let your pet escape, however we can not guarantee it. If needed, we can send a reminder the day before our visit to leave your pets inside. Please pick up pet droppings, toys, yard tools, etc. the day before our visit. When hit by a commercial lawn mower, these items are dangerous to your property and to our employees. Damage to these items, and damages caused by these items may not be subject to insurance claims/implementation.
- Why are weeds growing even though there is a weed barrier installed?
- Weed barriers (or Landscaping Fabric) DO NOT prevent weeds in flower beds. These barriers are marketed as a way to prevent weeds in flower beds, however the true use of the product is that of a material separator. For example, Landscape Fabric should be used under rock, not necessarily as weed prevention, but to keep the rocks from sinking into the soil. That being said, the product will help slow down the growth of weeds, but when the yard is mowed, or dust is blown into the flower bed, new weeds will quickly germinate on top of the Landscape Fabric, thus growing weeds on top of the fabric. Proper routine maintenance is necessary in all flower bed installations.
- Why didn't you install a weed barrier underneath the mulch?
- Lazer Lawn Care will not install weed barriers (or Landscaping Fabric) under our mulch. The reason for this is simple. Mulch is designed to decompose, and add nutrients to the soil. Mulch will also germinate weeds once it begins to decompose. The Landscape Fabric not only prevents the mulch from decomposing properly into the flower bed, but it also will not prevent weed growth after 12-16 months of mulch being installed. We believe in Long-Term Health of your flower bed and landscaping, and proper routine maintenance of mulch, and flower beds will ensure your shrubs grow healthy for a long time, keeping your landscape beautiful!
- How soon will you be able to get to my landscaping/yard/fence?
- We are usually about two to three weeks out on all services. During the busy spring months, scheduling might be booked out further than this, in which case your project manager will stay in touch with you on all scheduling information.
- How do the mowers move so fast?
- We use high-end commercial grade mowers. Our equipment is the best you can buy and generally cost 3-4 times the price of an average mower in its category. The key to a nice clean cut finish is keeping our blades sharp and the bottom of our decks clean.
- How many years of experience do you have?
